Act One Drama School practices a drama education approach that fundamentally teaches life skills as well as performance skills. Drama has the ability to connect multiple intelligences and creates a challenging learning environment that is non-threatening.
It combines many goals collectively; it asks learners to understand and examine knowledge through doing, it involves the use of visualisation, exercises in empathy, and it engages the emotions while recognising unique contributions from all students. Overall children learn by exploring imaginary themes and topics on both emotional and cognitive levels.
Act One Drama School’s classes provide opportunities to think critically and creatively, improve communication skills and most importantly, develop a knowledge of themselves.
